Westgate Las Vegas Doubles Down on Elvis Legacy with Immersive Shows

Travis Powell returns to the stage on July 31 for "1969 LIVE! The King Returns," a performance designed to mirror the energy of the singer’s comeback era. The production serves as the centerpiece for a weekend-long celebration at the resort, which includes themed events ranging from "Karaoke with The King" to pool parties and curated tours of the International Theater. The resort is positioning these shows as more than standard tributes, emphasizing their location within the original walls that hosted the real-life performances.

Following the summer events, the resort will debut "1970 LIVE! That's the Way It Was" on October 24. This production draws inspiration from the 1970 documentary of the same name, aiming to recreate the specific atmosphere of that legendary residency. Dawn Rawle, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Entertainment, noted that the venue’s history allows for an authenticity that other destinations cannot replicate. Tickets for the October debut are currently available, with the resort leveraging its status as the site of the original International Hotel to attract fans seeking a direct connection to Presley’s Las Vegas career.
