Cognizant and Gulf Edge Partner to Drive Thailand’s AI Economy

The collaboration targets a broad spectrum of Thai industries, including banking, energy, manufacturing, and the public sector. By integrating sovereign digital infrastructure with advanced AI platforms, the companies aim to automate complex business processes and improve operational efficiency. The initiative is designed to provide end-to-end services, ranging from systems integration to managed AI solutions, tailored specifically to the regional market’s needs.

Beyond immediate business applications, the partnership seeks to establish Thailand as a regional hub for artificial intelligence. Ganesh Ayyar, President of Cognizant Asia Pacific & Japan, noted that the project is expected to create approximately 1,000 high-skilled jobs in fields such as data science, cybersecurity, and AI engineering. To support this workforce shift, both firms plan to engage with local universities and research institutions to foster homegrown talent and ensure sustainable, responsible technology adoption.
