Under the new Other Transaction Agreement, the company will deliver a production-representative Minimum Viable Product. This initial phase serves as a testing ground for the government to validate core capabilities, including secure data operations and governance models. Sigma Defense designed the platform to ensure the government retains full control over identity, security, and mission-critical data.
"SUNet 2.0 represents the future of defense software, delivering secure operational platforms that accelerate innovation while remaining adaptable to changing missions and technologies," said Matt Jones, Chief Executive Officer of Sigma Defense. Following the initial rollout, the project holds the potential for a follow-on production contract to expand these capabilities across the broader defense landscape.
