Eunity Partners Launches The Convened to Fix Mid-Market P&L Gaps

Retail and consumer companies often struggle with specific, profit-draining challenges that neither a full-time executive hire nor a traditional consultant can effectively solve. The Convened, a new collective from Eunity Partners, intends to bridge this gap by embedding seasoned operators directly into firms to handle high-stakes execution until outcomes stabilize.

The model departs from conventional advisory services by focusing on singular, P&L-defining problems. Instead of delivering strategy decks, the operators—who have held senior accountability at scale—work alongside client teams to implement solutions in sales, supply chain, merchandising, brand, finance, and transformation. According to co-founder Katerina Crews, the firm was born from observing clients who defaulted to permanent hiring because they lacked a more surgical tool to address urgent, technical hurdles.

Operating across four core practices—Commercial, Operational Excellence, Capability Infrastructure, and Finance and Risk—the collective serves private equity sponsors, growth-stage founders, and leadership teams managing complex transformations. Managing Partner Maxwell King argues that current market offerings fail because they either provide strategy without execution or staffing without necessary context. By requiring the same operator who scopes the work to remain on-site until the results are firmly established, the firm aims to eliminate the accountability gaps often found in fractional or consulting-led engagements.
