YMX Logistics Leaders Named Finalists for 2026 Truck Fleet Innovator

Two YMX Logistics executives, CEO Matt Yearling and Vice President Adam Buttgenbach, have earned spots as finalists for the 2026 Truck Fleet Innovator award. The recognition, presented by Heavy Duty Trucking, highlights their contributions to modernizing yard operations through electrification, artificial intelligence, and autonomous technology deployment.

Yearling earned his nomination by integrating data-driven AI and electric yard trucks into enterprise logistics networks, aiming to prepare the broader industry for a shift toward autonomous operations. Buttgenbach, who joined YMX after managing fleet electrification for one of North America's largest private fleets, focuses on the practical application of emerging tech. His approach centers on closed-loop processes that connect infrastructure investments directly to measurable performance improvements.

"At YMX, we believe the next generation of enterprise yard operations is being shaped by the convergence of technology and operations," Yearling said. The pair joins seven other industry finalists. The final winners will be announced at the Heavy Duty Trucking Exchange in Scottsdale, Arizona, held September 23–25, where the honorees will participate in a panel discussion regarding the future of trucking innovation.
