Stefano Mazzoli Claims First PGA TOUR Victory at Corales Puntacana

Mazzoli, who entered the tournament as a competitor on both the Asian and DP World Tours, navigated a pressure-filled final round featuring eight birdies and two bogeys. His clutch performance at the 18th hole at the Corales Golf Course ended the three-day reign of Clements, who ultimately finished in a tie for second place at 19-under-par alongside Gordon Sargent. The victory provides Mazzoli with a significant career boost, granting him full PGA TOUR membership through 2028, 300 FedExCup points, and a winner’s purse of $720,000.

Following the final putt, tournament officials presented Mazzoli with the championship trophy, the signature white chacabana shirt, and the traditional Corales hat. The event, which drew significant crowds to the oceanfront skyboxes and the 18th green, remains a centerpiece of the Dominican Republic’s sporting calendar. Organizers confirmed that the tour will return to the Tom Fazio-designed course for its next edition, scheduled for July 12–18, 2027.
