CoAspire Secures $70 Million Navy Contract for CHAOS Missile System

Under the Prototype Other Transactional Agreement, managed through CMG Networks and the Naval Aviation Systems Consortium, CoAspire will deliver a system centered on its Rapidly Adaptable Affordable Cruise Missile-Extended Range (RAACM-ER). The design integrates the missile with a booster and launcher, providing an affordable strike capability intended for Foreign Military Sale customers seeking scalable defense solutions.

CEO Doug Denneny noted that the project leverages a supply chain of 56 first-tier suppliers to support program office PMX-201. The missile’s construction utilizes additive manufacturing, a process CoAspire claims reduces tooling and labor requirements, allowing for rapid modifications and the development of new variants in months rather than years. The company is currently showcasing the system at the Farnborough International Airshow, emphasizing its ability to move from contract award to flight testing in as little as four months.
