Parke Bancorp Reports $24.1 Million Profit for First Half of 2026

Washington Township-based Parke Bancorp, Inc. reported a significant surge in profitability for the first half of 2026, with net income climbing to $24.1 million. The 50% year-over-year increase reflects the banking firm's ability to capitalize on higher asset yields and disciplined operational management despite broader economic turbulence.

Parke Bancorp Reports $24.1 Million Profit for First Half of 2026

The company's performance for the second quarter of 2026 reached $12.2 million in net income, marking a 47.8% jump compared to the $8.3 million recorded during the same period in 2025. This growth was largely fueled by a $5.1 million increase in net interest income and a reduction in provisions for credit losses. By the end of June, the bank's total assets had expanded to $2.30 billion, up from $2.25 billion at the close of 2025.

CEO Vito S. Pantilione attributed the results to a resilient loan portfolio and effective balance sheet management in an era of persistent inflation and geopolitical uncertainty. While the firm faced headwinds from volatile market conditions, its efficiency ratio improved to 30.16% for the six-month period, down from 36.60% a year prior. Additionally, the bank saw a sharp decline in nonperforming loans, which dropped to $5.4 million by mid-year, signaling improved asset quality compared to the $10.8 million reported at the end of December.
