Rigby will oversee the regulatory landscape for banks, insurers, asset managers, and the growing fintech industry. Her appointment, confirmed Tuesday, marks a return to a portfolio she managed from September of last year until May, when she transitioned to the role of Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
