Samir Siddhanti Named Chief Business Officer at Neurocrine Biosciences

Siddhanti, who joined the biopharmaceutical company in 2017, previously served as Vice President of Business Development. His tenure has been marked by high-stakes transactional work, most notably leading the recent $2.9 billion acquisition of Soleno Therapeutics. Beyond corporate development, he provides strategic oversight for the company’s muscarinic portfolio, including the development of direclidine for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Chief Executive Officer Kyle W. Gano credited Siddhanti with shaping the company’s long-term trajectory through disciplined capital allocation and portfolio prioritization. Before his time at Neurocrine, Siddhanti worked in biotechnology equity research at Goldman Sachs and holds advanced degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. In his new capacity, he will focus on integrating internal innovation with external opportunities to bolster the firm’s commercial reach.
