Vital Records Control Launches VitalCares Social Responsibility Program

Memphis-based information management firm Vital Records Control has introduced VitalCares, a new corporate social responsibility initiative designed to formalize the company’s efforts in community engagement, environmental stewardship, and employee development after three decades of operation in the information governance sector.

The initiative rests on three pillars: Community, Planet, and Team. Through these channels, the company has already established partnerships with the Madonna Learning Center, the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation, and the FedEx St. Jude Championship to organize outreach and charitable support efforts.

Environmental impact remains a primary metric for the program. Last year, the company’s document destruction, recycling, and digital transformation services saved an estimated 1.3 million trees and 560 million gallons of water. These sustainable practices also prevented 80,000 metric tons of carbon emissions and diverted 264,000 cubic yards of waste from landfills. CEO Danny Palo stated that the company measures success not only by service delivery but by the tangible impact made on employees and the surrounding environment.
