Tower Garden Launches Digital Hub for K-12 Aeroponic Education

With over 10,000 schools already utilizing its aeroponic systems, Memphis-based Tower Garden has debuted a centralized online portal to standardize garden-based learning. The platform offers educators curated curriculum guides, funding strategies, and technical training to integrate soil-free farming directly into STEM classrooms and wellness programs.

Tower Garden Launches Digital Hub for K-12 Aeroponic Education

The new digital destination aims to streamline the adoption of indoor and outdoor growing systems by providing teachers with free, downloadable resources that align with modern academic standards. By eliminating the complexities of traditional gardening, the scalable technology allows students to manage the entire lifecycle of produce, from seed to harvest, while exploring plant biology and sustainability in real-time.

Since the company’s inception in 2012, educators have utilized these vertical growing units to bridge the gap between classroom theory and community nutrition. Marie Morud, a Farm to School Coordinator in North Iowa, noted that the systems have transformed local libraries and after-school programs into food sources, yielding everything from herbs to peppers for community pantries. James Coffman, Vice President of Global Tower Garden, stated that the portal represents a long-term commitment to providing schools with the necessary materials to foster both scientific literacy and healthier eating habits.
