Saudia Debuts World’s First Esports-Themed Aircraft for EWC 2026

The branded aircraft, revealed at Saudia Technic in Jeddah, will serve the Riyadh-Paris route throughout the tournament and remain in the airline's international rotation for two years. Beyond the exterior livery, the collaboration integrates the EWC experience into the flight itself. Passengers can access tournament documentaries through the BEYOND inflight entertainment system, while live match broadcasts will be available in Saudia lounges.

This initiative supports the tournament's massive scale, which features 2,000 players and 200 clubs competing for a prize pool exceeding $75 million. To drive engagement among younger audiences, the airline is also launching a custom Fortnite map that mirrors the branded aircraft and airport. Winners of the community tournament will secure travel packages to Paris, connecting the digital competition to the physical event. According to Esports Foundation representative Francois Desir, the move aims to extend the tournament experience far beyond the arena, leveraging the airline’s network to foster cultural exchange between the Kingdom and France.
