The monthlong H2O for Humanity Summer Water Drive focused on providing hydration to individuals and families experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity as temperatures across the Phoenix area hit triple digits. Staff participated through direct donations and fundraising efforts throughout June, bolstering the agency's ability to distribute supplies to those at the highest risk of heat-related health issues.
Heather Marcom, Achieve’s senior vice president of human resources, credited the company’s internal culture for the spike in donations. TCAA CEO Philip Scharf noted that such corporate partnerships are essential for maintaining life-saving services during the most extreme months of the year. With a large workforce based in the region, Achieve continues to prioritize local community aid as part of its ongoing social commitment.
