The Samsung Galaxy Card arrives with no annual fee and a structure designed to incentivize users of the company's mobile ecosystem. Cardholders will receive 5% cash rewards on direct Samsung purchases, 3% on transactions made through Samsung Wallet, 2% on eligible streaming services like Netflix and Spotify, and 1% on all other spending. To encourage adoption, new users can earn a $200 bonus after spending $2,000 within the first 90 days of account activation.
Beyond reward tiers, the card offers a 20% discount on Samsung VIP Advantage memberships. Applications open on July 22 via the official Samsung website. By provisioning the card instantly into Samsung Wallet, the companies intend to streamline the payment process, allowing users to manage accounts and track rewards directly from their mobile devices. Woncheol Chai, head of the digital wallet team at Samsung, described the launch as a milestone in the evolution of mobile payments, aiming to provide a cohesive experience for users navigating their digital and physical errands.
