Jason Liberty, Chairman and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group, noted that Bunch’s background in technology-enabled services will play a critical role as the company expands its vacation ecosystem. At Airbnb, she managed customer service, trust and safety, and payment infrastructures across 220 countries. Her addition to the board follows a long tenure at major tech firms, including leadership roles at Apple and a 25-year career at Hewlett-Packard, where she focused on large-scale customer support and product development.
Beyond her operational background, Bunch contributes significant governance experience. She currently serves on the board of The Vanguard Group and holds an MBA from Santa Clara University alongside a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley. Her transition to the board occurs as Royal Caribbean Group prepares for its 2027 entry into river cruising and continues to scale its private destination portfolio.
