Uranium Royalty Corp. Shareholders Back Strategic Reorganization

With 99.43% of the vote in favor, Uranium Royalty Corp. shareholders have cleared the path for a major corporate restructuring. The plan involves merging the company with Sweetwater Entities, a move designed to consolidate trona royalty assets across Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado under a new Delaware-based parent company.

The finalization of this arrangement now rests on a pending order from the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the fulfillment of standard closing conditions. If these requirements are met, the transition is slated to conclude around July 27, 2026. Following the merger, the newly formed entity, New URC, is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ by July 28, 2026, marking the departure of the company from the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Alongside this structural shift, the firm announced a change in its financial leadership. Chief Financial Officer Andy Marshall will step down on July 29, 2026, to pursue other professional interests. Eason Chen has been tapped to serve as interim CFO as the company navigates its transition into the new corporate structure.
