Omens will serve as the primary architect for NinjaTrader’s strategic expansion, managing global exchange relationships and representing the firm across major industry trade associations. During his time at CME Group, he led the Americas Sales teams and was instrumental in shaping the company's global retail strategy, experience that NinjaTrader intends to leverage as it scales its brokerage and proprietary trading offerings.
CEO Martin Franchi noted that the appointment comes at a critical juncture for the derivatives sector, where retail access to futures markets is expanding rapidly. Omens described the firm as being at an inflection point, aiming to capture further momentum within the global trading community. This leadership change follows a period of significant growth for NinjaTrader, which currently supports a community of nearly 3 million traders through its cloud-based platform and clearing services.
