Triton Uranium Launches Drilling at Historic Cinch Mine Site

The Cinch Mine, an idle facility reaching depths of 334 meters, serves as the starting point for a broader 10,000-meter drilling program. Beyond uranium, the company plans to conduct multi-element assays on drill cores to identify potential deposits of copper, titanium, ruthenium, and graphite. According to Triton President Scott Evans, the primary objective is to systematically validate and expand these historic deposits to meet modern NI 43-101 and SK-1300 reporting standards.

Following the completion of work at Cinch, exploration teams will shift focus to several low-grade open-pit targets, including the Red Rock and Donaldson Lake zones. Triton controls over 46,000 acres in the district and recently integrated airborne radiometric and LiDAR survey data to pinpoint 11.5 kilometers of prospective strike length. While the area has historically produced significant uranium yields, the company maintains that current drilling is essential to confirm whether these zones hold economically viable resources.
