Great American Media Unveils Christmas By the Spoonful

The project, titled Christmas By the Spoonful, features Laura Vandervoort as the embattled critic alongside Olivier Renaud, who plays the skeptical chef. Rounding out the cast are Ilan O'Driscoll and Holly Bridges. The film is set to anchor the sixth annual Great American Christmas event, which kicks off this October across the network's platforms, including Great American Family, Great American Pure Flix, and the GFAM+ app.

Allison Kendrick, Vice President of Development at Great American Media, described the film as a testament to the power of forgiveness and the endurance of family traditions. The narrative arc focuses on the unlikely collaboration between the two leads as they attempt to recreate a meaningful holiday meal, ultimately trading old resentments for a path toward reconciliation.
