The program expands an existing partnership with eCampus.com, which began in 2024 to manage the college's online retail operations. Under the new model, students will receive materials automatically based on their class schedules. Physical textbooks will be available for campus pickup, while digital resources will be integrated directly into the college’s learning management system, Canvas. The system utilizes Single Sign-On technology to streamline access for the entire student body.
Narayan Sampath, vice president of administration and finance at the college, expects most students to pay less than half of their current textbook costs through this flat-rate approach. Beyond financial relief, the program encourages faculty to incorporate Open Educational Resources alongside traditional content. Matt Montgomery, CEO of eCampus.com, stated that the initiative is intended to remove logistical barriers to academic success by ensuring students are prepared from the start of the semester.
