The expansion follows a successful pilot with Washington DC-based GoRide, which integrated its existing dispatch system into Curb Flow. This connection allows local taxi fleets to tap into aggregate demand from sources like Uber, Taxi Butler, and Curb’s own consumer app without forcing drivers to abandon their preferred software. The model has proven effective, with Curb Flow now accounting for nearly half of all trips completed by participating GoRide drivers, some of whom reach 650 trips per month.
Since 2023, the company has seen its nationwide booking volume quadruple. Dorel Tamam, Vice President of Curb’s Mobile Business Unit, noted that the platform’s success stems from removing technical barriers that historically siloed supply and demand. With the London rollout now active, the company is actively recruiting additional fleets and technology providers to join the network, aiming to replicate the North American growth trajectory for black cab drivers in the UK market.
