Brian Ganser Takes Helm of Cohen & Co Advisory Practice

Ganser steps into the role as Cohen & Co accelerates its national expansion, bolstered by a series of strategic acquisitions since 2024. The firm has integrated expertise from Cleveland-based Tax & Wealth Management, Chicago’s Tassi and Company, and New York’s Gioffre & Company to broaden its service portfolio. CEO Chris Bellamy noted that Ganser’s background as both an entrepreneur and adviser makes him an ideal fit to scale the firm’s offerings and maintain current momentum.

Operating from the Chicago office, Ganser will oversee a practice that recently formalized its Office of the CFO service, designed to support finance leaders with reporting, transformation, and accounting. His appointment arrives as the firm seeks to capitalize on its recent M&A activity to provide comprehensive advisory support to private equity investors and management teams. Ganser, an Indiana University Kelly School of Business MBA graduate, also serves on the Leadership Council of Special Olympics.
