The company’s presence at the ESMO Congress, scheduled for October 23-27, highlights the progression of its OptimUM clinical program. Key updates include follow-up data from the Phase 2 OptimUM-09 study on neoadjuvant darovasertib, as well as comparative results from the OptimUM-02 trial, which evaluates darovasertib and crizotinib in HLA-A2 negative metastatic uveal melanoma. A subgroup analysis from the OptimUM-01 study will also provide data for HLA-A*02-positive patients.
Beyond its own trials, IDEAYA’s partner, Hengrui Pharma, is slated to present long-term results from a Phase 1 study of IDE849 (SHR-4849). This drug candidate, an antibody-drug conjugate targeting DLL3, is currently being evaluated for patients with small cell lung carcinoma and other neuroendocrine carcinomas. IDEAYA Chief Medical Officer Dr. Darrin Beaupre noted that the company aims to initiate a registrational trial for the IDE849 program by the end of the year in both China and the United States, positioning the asset as a potential best-in-class therapy.
