Christopher Aquilino joins the Hyde Park-based college as vice president of Workforce Development and Industry Solutions. With over 35 years of experience in culinary operations and organizational strategy, Aquilino most recently served as chief culinary officer at Elior North America. Beyond his corporate background, he serves as a U.S. chef ambassador for the Burnt Chef Project, a non-profit focused on mental health advocacy within the hospitality industry.

Michael Lederman assumes the role of Chief Digital and Technology Officer, bringing a 25-year track record in luxury hospitality and financial services. During his nine-year tenure as CIO at The Leading Hotels of the World, Lederman spearheaded a multi-year digital transformation that significantly boosted revenue for the company’s 450 member properties. CIA President Michiel Bakker stated that these appointments are essential to elevating student experiences and meeting the needs of learners at every stage of their careers. Both executives will be based at the institute's New York campus.
