Nymeo Federal Credit Union Joins Forces with NAWBO Greater DC

The collaboration grew out of a long-standing professional connection between Nymeo branch manager Heidi Landaverde and local business owner Trish Davies. Recognizing the credit union’s emphasis on relationship-based service, Davies facilitated the introduction, resulting in a sponsorship that integrates Nymeo’s Business Solutions Bundles—ranging from treasury management to cash flow optimization—into the NAWBO network.

Kristina Morgan, Chief Operations Officer at Nymeo, noted that the initiative aligns with the credit union's internal culture, where women currently hold key leadership positions including President and CEO. For NAWBO Greater DC, the partnership addresses a critical need for financial allies who prioritize personalized market understanding over standard lending. According to Chapter President Denise Sarpong-Johnson, the move provides members with both the capital and the local guidance necessary to scale their operations effectively within the Washington metropolitan region.
