Clarkston Inventor Pitches Air Drop Protective Case

A Clarkston, Georgia-based inventor has developed the Air Drop, a patent-pending cell phone case designed to mitigate the physical risks of daily mobile use. The device combines structural drop protection with ergonomic features intended to prevent accidental falls and simplify one-handed operation during screen viewing.

The invention aims to curb the frequency of cracked screens and water damage by providing a more secure grip than standard market alternatives. Beyond its primary function as a protective shell, the case includes an integrated stand to facilitate hands-free viewing. By reducing the likelihood of impact-related damage, the design targets a reduction in consumer repair and replacement costs.

InventHelp has accepted the design for its national sales office, where it is currently being shopped for licensing or direct acquisition by manufacturers and marketers. A functional prototype and technical schematics for the TKA-476 unit are available for review by interested industry partners.
