The expansion represents a pivotal shift for the London-based company, which aims to secure a position among Sephora’s top 10 skincare brands within five years. CEO Simon Coble noted that the move aligns with the brand’s research-first heritage, targeting a consumer base that increasingly prioritizes evidence-based formulations over marketing claims. The company projects North American retail sales will surpass £100 million by 2029.
Central to this strategy is the Crystal Retinal line, currently identified as the top-selling retinal serum globally by Kline & Company. To support the launch, Medik8 will leverage its signature CSA philosophy—Vitamin C and sunscreen by day, combined with Vitamin A at night. Since L'Oréal Groupe acquired a majority stake in the brand in 2025, Medik8 has utilized increased resources to scale its operations while maintaining its internal manufacturing and innovation standards at its London-area facility. Sephora executives in both the U.S. and Canada emphasized that the partnership responds to rising consumer demand for professional-grade, result-oriented skincare.
