The Z1 joins Makera’s existing lineup, including the Carvera and Carvera Air, as part of a push to make professional-grade machining accessible to educators, designers, and hobbyists. The machine features automated tool changing, self-leveling capabilities, and integrated tool setting to reduce manual configuration. These hardware updates are paired with Makera Studio, a software suite that consolidates CAM operations and machine control into a single workflow.
Beyond hardware, the company is introducing Makerables, an AI-powered platform designed to assist users with model generation and community collaboration. At booth F.139, attendees can test the full production cycle—from generating a design through the platform's AI tools to machining a custom souvenir on the Z1. By integrating intelligent software with compact, automated machines, Makera aims to streamline the transition from digital concepts to physical objects.
