GVTC Communications Elevates Johnson and Hitt to Executive Roles

His background in enterprise performance is intended to provide the financial rigor necessary for the cooperative’s strategic infrastructure investments.

Scott Hitt, who joined the leadership team in 2025, moves into his new role after spending over two decades in technology and operations management. Hitt is tasked with refining the company’s customer operations strategy and streamlining service delivery across its fiber network. The cooperative currently provides connectivity throughout the Texas Hill Country and South-Central Texas, operating a transport network that reaches major hubs including San Antonio, Austin, and Houston.
