The project is a key component of Enfinity's broader 6.7 GW storage portfolio in Italy. Under the terms of the deal, Enfinity will oversee the final development stages, construction, and long-term asset management. The partnership serves as a cornerstone of Enfinity's capital recycling strategy, which has successfully attracted over 1.1 GW in co-investments from institutional partners, including Azerbaijan’s sovereign wealth fund, during the past year.

For the Strioga Family Foundation, this investment represents its fourth and largest venture into battery storage, pushing its total European commitment beyond 2.5 GWh. Gediminas Uloza, CEO of the Foundation, noted that the move aligns with their mission to back energy efficiency and climate technology. Enfinity CEO Carlos Domenech emphasized that the collaboration combines the Foundation’s long-term capital with Enfinity’s technical platform to accelerate the deployment of reliable power capacity. Advant NCTM provided advisory services to Enfinity, while Green Horse and Natural Power represented the Strioga Family Foundation.
