Evoke Security Joins Google’s Inaugural Gemini Cybersecurity Forum

Washington-based startup Evoke Security has secured a spot in Google’s first Gemini Startup Forum: Cybersecurity, joining 32 other companies tasked with navigating the risks of an increasingly autonomous workforce. The program, run by Google for Startups, focuses on developing governance for the AI agents now infiltrating enterprise environments.

Evoke Security Joins Google’s Inaugural Gemini Cybersecurity Forum

Evoke Security will operate within the AI agent security and governance track, collaborating directly with specialists from Google DeepMind, Mandiant, and Wiz. The company’s platform focuses on detection and response, treating autonomous agents as a new category of operating system that requires constant inventory and real-time behavioral monitoring. Jason Rebholz, CEO of Evoke, emphasizes that as the workforce shifts away from human-only operations, the priority is granting companies visibility and control before security incidents escalate. This selection marks another milestone for the firm following its participation in the 2026 CrowdStrike, AWS, and NVIDIA Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator. By focusing on the detection layer, Evoke aims to prevent the accumulation of security debt as businesses scale their reliance on self-governing systems.
