The device utilizes Signia’s Integrated Xperience platform, which features a two-microphone system capable of tracking multiple speakers in real time. This technology is specifically calibrated for high-noise environments like restaurants or social gatherings, where shifting conversations often pose the greatest challenge for wearers. Unlike traditional models that require custom molds, the Active Mini IX is designed for same-day fitting at any of HearUSA’s centers.

Sabrina Raineri, a clinical operations audiologist at HearUSA, notes that the device removes significant barriers to entry for new users. Beyond its size, the unit includes Bluetooth streaming for mobile devices and an AI-powered assistant that adjusts settings between professional visits. With a battery life of up to 21 hours, the product joins HearUSA’s broader retail portfolio, which now spans over 380 owned centers and a network of 4,000 professionals.
