Lisa La Brooy Named President at Shapiro+Raj

La Brooy’s elevation follows a period of rapid expansion for the Chicago-based firm, which specializes in helping life sciences organizations navigate complex commercial and clinical launch decisions. Known for a hands-on approach, she will balance her executive responsibilities with active participation in client relationships and project teams, ensuring that senior leadership remains embedded in the firm’s core work.

Chairman and CEO Zain Raj noted that La Brooy’s appointment is designed to preserve the firm’s distinctive culture during a period of scaling. She will work in tandem with Amir Kapadia, who continues to lead internal operations while spearheading Stella, the firm's proprietary AI agent business. La Brooy, who began her career in Australia before moving to the U.S. market, intends to prioritize the firm’s intellectual curiosity and strategic courage as it expands its footprint in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.
