Databarracks Taps Darren Tingley for Technology Leadership

Tingley arrives with over 20 years of experience, most recently serving as Global Head of Security and Internal IT at Enfusion, where he managed a workforce expansion from 200 to over 1,000 employees. His history with Databarracks is unique: he previously oversaw IT and security at Lansdowne Partners, where he was a direct customer of the firm’s backup and disaster recovery services.

In this newly created role, Tingley will oversee the firm's technological evolution, focusing on a unified resilience framework. This strategic shift responds to findings from the company’s 2026 Data Health Check, which identified the integration of IT and business resilience as the primary objective for modern organizations facing mounting cyber threats and regulatory pressure. Managing Director James Watts noted that Tingley’s background provides a crucial "customer-first" perspective, essential for maintaining service quality during a period of rapid growth. Tingley joins fellow recent hire Michelle Green, who was appointed as Marketing Director, as part of a wider effort to bolster the company's executive leadership.
