Bird steps into the role with a background spanning leadership positions at Orion Pharma, Medreich, and Meda, alongside earlier tenures at Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi-Aventis. His mandate focuses on broadening the company’s reach into New Zealand, Asia, and Northern Europe, while maintaining the supply of high-potency and multi-format vial medications manufactured in Western Australia.

Executive Chair Mark Crotty, who initiated the search for a new CEO, will retain his post to oversee long-term strategic development and platform growth. According to Dr. Masood Tayebi, co-founder of parent firm Bridgewest Group, this dual-leadership structure is intended to blend continuity with aggressive commercial execution.
