This is particularly relevant for addressing access challenges in pharmacy deserts, where consistent medication supply remains a persistent barrier.
Amazon Pharmacy currently offers same-day delivery in nearly 3,000 U.S. cities, with plans to reach 4,500 locations by the end of 2026. Beyond basic delivery, Prime members gain access to deeper savings on generics, while the RxPass subscription service allows patients to manage chronic conditions for a flat $5 monthly fee. According to eNavvi CEO Simon Chang, the primary goal is to minimize friction, ensuring that physicians spend less time managing prescription logistics and more time focused on patient health outcomes.
