MAVRX Sports Housing Acquires Top Performance Housing

PHOENIX — MAVRX Sports Housing has finalized the acquisition of Top Performance Housing, consolidating two prominent women-led firms into a single entity. The deal aims to scale a specialized national platform for professional athletes and sports organizations, leveraging integrated technology to manage seasonal relocation needs across major leagues.

The merger arrives as the U.S. serviced apartment sector faces rapid expansion, with industry projections estimating a $44 billion valuation by 2033. By incorporating New Jersey-based Top Performance Housing into its existing infrastructure, MAVRX intends to increase its footprint while maintaining the niche, high-touch service required by MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL rosters. This specialized model prioritizes the unique, short-term housing demands of athletes over the volume-based strategies typical of general corporate housing providers.

Nicolette Hawthorne, founder and CEO of MAVRX, noted that the union focuses on aligning operational expertise and proprietary software to elevate client standards. Kim Schimenek, who founded Top Performance Housing, will transition to the role of Chief Sales Officer at MAVRX. She will oversee the company's sales strategy and client partnerships, citing a shared emphasis on service integrity as the primary driver for the acquisition. Current operations will fold into the MAVRX brand, granting existing clients access to a broader inventory of furnished units across more than 30 states without disrupting ongoing season-long housing agreements.
