A 70% surge in the U.S. commercial install base for ProSense has forced IceCure Medical to aggressively expand its domestic sales and clinical support teams. The company is now fortifying its presence in key regions, including New York and Southern California, to sustain momentum following its FDA marketing authorization last October.

The expansion arrives as the Caesarea-based firm seeks to convert rising interest from hospitals and physicians into standardized clinical practice. New personnel have been deployed to territories across the Midwest and the East Coast to handle the operational requirements of the company’s liquid nitrogen-based tumor destruction technology. This push follows a June report highlighting the rapid adoption of the ProSense system, which now serves patients in major metropolitan hubs such as Atlanta, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Phoenix.

IceCure CEO Eyal Shamir noted that the company is prioritizing broader market awareness to ensure the minimally invasive procedure remains a viable alternative to traditional surgical tumor removal. By bolstering clinical support teams, the company aims to streamline the onboarding process for new medical facilities, further entrenching its technology in the competitive oncology market.
