His appointment marks a significant push to unify the agency’s creative output across its London, Milan, Basel, and Munich offices amid a shifting global healthcare landscape.

Chapman will operate as part of a core creative triumvirate alongside Global Chief Creative Officer Stephanie Berman and New York CCO Adam Hessel. The agency aims to leverage his background to deepen its focus on behaviorally-driven healthcare communications. His arrival coincides with a broader expansion of the London team, which recently added Ruarí Burgham as Engagement Strategy Director and Ellen Bunker as Account Director.

Stephanie Berman noted that Chapman’s recruitment reflects a deliberate effort to scale the firm’s creative ambition. The Bloc, which recently secured Independent Network of the Year honors at the Sannis Awards and the Lisbon International Health Festival, currently emphasizes a proprietary "BE-COMMS" operating system to bridge scientific expertise with patient-centered marketing. Chapman stated that the agency’s independent structure and commitment to behavioral science were primary drivers in his decision to join the leadership team.
