410 Medical Secures $12 Million to Scale Resuscitation Technology

The oversubscribed round drew participation from a consortium of health systems and investors, including Hatteras Venture Partners, Ballad Health, OSF Healthcare, and Tampa General. This capital infusion arrives as 410 Medical seeks to broaden the footprint of its flagship LifeFlow technology, which is already utilized by over 500 hospitals and EMS agencies to treat patients suffering from sepsis and hemorrhagic shock. To date, the device has been deployed in nearly 80,000 clinical cases.

CEO Kyle Chenet stated that the new resources provide the necessary runway to expand commercial operations and refine the company's product pipeline. Bobby Helmedag, Managing Director of Orlando Health Ventures, noted that the investment targets a critical gap in resuscitative care. Development of the next-generation device, which emphasizes enhanced portability and speed, incorporates feedback gathered from a decade of front-line clinical partnerships. This upcoming iteration remains central to the company’s strategy for maintaining its position in the emergency and critical care sector.
