Rothman brings two decades of experience to the role, having previously co-founded the New York-based medical group Rendr. His track record includes scaling the urgent care provider CityMD, where he served as its first finance hire. At Astrana, he will focus on growing the provider network and refining operational capabilities across the company’s physician enterprise.
Gupta joins the leadership team from EY, where he spent over 20 years as a partner advising boards on financial integrity, IPO readiness, and mergers and acquisitions. His new mandate centers on enterprise transformation, specifically overseeing finance, reporting, and data analytics. CEO Brandon Sim stated that these appointments are intended to reinforce the company's ability to innovate and scale its value-based care delivery model. Astrana currently supports more than 20,000 providers, utilizing its proprietary technology to manage care across primary, specialty, and ancillary clinics.
