The anniversary programming leans heavily into the resort’s 1986 origins. Partnering with Paramount Pictures, the venue has already hosted activations around "Ferris Bueller’s Day Off" and plans to honor "Pretty in Pink" later this year. Guests currently have the chance to win a 1987 Buick GNX, a prize set to be presented by LA cultural icon Mister Cartoon alongside the unveiling of a custom mural. Throughout the property, nostalgic pricing and 1980s-inspired horticultural displays serve as a bridge between the resort’s past and its current luxury status.
Culinary and entertainment offerings aim to showcase the resort’s evolution. At The Pines Modern Steakhouse, Michelin-starred chef Paul Liebrandt and Master Sommelier João Pires are collaborating on a $5,000 six-course menu, featuring rare spirits distilled in the 1980s. The celebration reaches its peak during the week of July 19, when the Yaamava' Theater hosts a succession of headliners including Eric Church, Christina Aguilera, Imagine Dragons, and Snoop Dogg. General Manager Kenji Hall credits the milestone to the vision of the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation, noting that the events reflect the dedication that transformed the property into a premier Southern California entertainment hub.
