The new headquarters at 575 Main Street NE serves as a Commercial and Customer Center of Excellence, housing R&D, customer service, commercialization, and payroll departments. While the corporate move signals a shift in workplace strategy, Rise Baking Company confirmed that its existing manufacturing operations in Tucker and Douglasville will remain active. CEO Mark McNeil described the relocation as a necessary evolution, noting that the new site provides the infrastructure required to support the company’s expanding national footprint.
Uptown Atlanta, a 47-acre mixed-use development managed by Rubenstein Partners, offers the bakery manufacturer proximity to major transit corridors, including the Lindbergh MARTA Station and the Atlanta Beltline. For the company, which produces goods for major grocery chains and foodservice operators, the move represents a shift toward a more centralized, amenity-rich workplace. Eric Schiela, COO for Rubenstein Partners, stated that the integration of Rise Baking Company into the transit-oriented campus aligns with the development’s focus on attracting firms that prioritize employee engagement and innovation.
