Elleni Kalouris, founder of Kalouris Law Firm, received the Empathy in Action Award for her dedication to domestic violence survivors and immigrant families. Kalouris recently contributed 100 hours of pro bono work in six months while continuing her role as a Guardian ad Litem for children in complex family court cases.
The Catalyst Award went to South Carolina-based attorney Luke Shealey. Through his nonprofit, Suzerain, Shealey trains defense teams in under-resourced jurisdictions on capital case jury selection. His recent guidance in a Michigan trial helped a defense team secure a life plea, effectively preventing a death sentence.
Krysle I. Myers, founder of Eleven Law Firm, earned the People’s Choice Award for her extensive educational outreach. Through Stiletto Boss University, Myers has mentored over 4,000 young women in entrepreneurship and law. Her commitment includes 1,150 hours of volunteer service, valued at approximately $170,000 in donated expertise. These recipients will be formally celebrated on October 15 at Smokeball Spark 2026, held at the Chicago Athletic Association.
