Svalborn joins the company following a six-year tenure as Group CFO at Raketech Group Holding Plc, where he managed finance, legal, and investor relations for the Nasdaq First North-listed firm. His background includes overseeing cross-border acquisitions and capital markets activity, expertise that Gentoo Media CEO Jonas Warrer expects will be instrumental to the company's long-term growth trajectory.

Before entering the iGaming sector, Svalborn held senior roles at Nordea Bank and served as an auditor at Ernst & Young. He holds degrees from Uppsala University and Lund University. His arrival follows Gentoo Media’s transition from Gaming Innovation Group, a split that resulted in the creation of two independently listed entities. The company, which operates brands including AskGamblers and CasinoTopsOnline, currently trades on Nasdaq Stockholm under the ticker G2M.
