Jacobsen’s trajectory reflects a deep integration with the firm. After joining Sobo & Sobo as a paralegal in 2015, she cultivated a specialized focus on injury advocacy while completing her legal education at Pace University School of Law. Her early experience included working as a student attorney with the Legal Aid Society in Goshen, an environment that solidified her courtroom capabilities before transitioning into a full-time attorney role.
Today, she manages a diverse caseload involving motor vehicle collisions, construction site incidents, and premises liability claims. Beyond her courtroom practice, Jacobsen maintains active membership in the New York State and Middletown Bar Associations. Her community involvement includes support for the Orange County Heart Association and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization. Managing Partner Gregory Sobo noted that her rise from paralegal to an award-winning trial lawyer highlights a rare level of dedication to both her clients and the broader community.
