In Irving, Texas, the company repurposed a former Fry's Electronics building into a 183,000-square-foot facility housing 1,756 units. The site features drive-up access and enclosed RV garages equipped with electrical hookups. Genevieve, a lead on the development team, noted that the project prioritized customer flexibility by integrating diverse unit sizes and price points within the renovated structure.
California’s Central Valley now hosts a Class A facility within the Tesoro Viejo master-planned community. This location utilizes Noke smart access technology, allowing tenants to manage entry via mobile devices. The site also includes specialized amenities such as a wash station, sewer dump, and propane services. According to Randel Mathias, the site design was specifically tailored to match the aesthetic and service standards of the surrounding community.
Further growth includes the renovated Storelocal Storage in Cibolo, Texas, operated by G4 Investors LLC, and a new build in Benson, Arizona, managed by Storage IQC. The Benson site adds 200 storage units and 100 dedicated vehicle parking spaces to the Southern Arizona region. These additions reflect the company's broader strategy of providing independent storage operators with national marketing and operational infrastructure to compete with large-scale REITs.
