Leidos and Rune Partner to Automate Military Logistics in Indo-Pacific

Commanders operating across the vast, maritime expanses of the Indo-Pacific face a persistent friction: predicting supply needs before communication lines fail. Leidos and Rune Technologies are now integrating their AI platforms to solve this by creating predictive logistics chains capable of functioning in contested, distributed environments.

The collaboration merges Rune’s TyrOS software, designed for supply chains in degraded communication zones, with the enterprise data integration expertise of Leidos. This technical union aims to transform traditionally manual logistics into intelligent, responsive webs. By generating automated courses of action, the partners intend to provide military leadership with the foresight necessary to maintain readiness despite the geographical and logistical hurdles inherent to the region.

Jason McCarthy, senior vice president at Leidos, emphasized that the goal is to provide actionable insight today rather than in the distant future. David Tuttle, CEO of Rune Technologies, noted that technology must bridge the gap between planning and execution to sustain operations at machine speed. This initiative aligns with the Leidos NorthStar 2030 strategy, which prioritizes AI-driven decision support and operational resilience for government clients.
