The deal aims to standardize supply ordering and delivery across the entire Allina ecosystem. By aligning products and processes, the health system intends to bolster supply chain resiliency and ensure consistent availability of medical supplies for its care teams.
Joshua Grulke, system director of Allina Health Supply Chain Operations, stated that the partnership is designed to protect the quality of patient care by providing staff with more reliable tools. Tom Reynolds, executive vice president of acute care at Medline, noted that the agreement expands on a pre-existing relationship between the two organizations, shifting focus toward system-wide efficiency and continuity of care.
